Surfaces must be clean, dry and free of dust and grease to prompt adhesion. |

Silicone does not adhere to itself. When repairing badly-sealed joints, previous silicone must be fully removed and the surface must be cleaned, degreased and dried prior to sealing. The remains of a previous joint can only be removed mechanically, i.e. with a scraper or a similar implement. |

The application temperature should be between +5º and +40º. |

Once the surface is ready, the silicone should be applied continuously, making sure that there is always product outside the joint. The silicone must always be applied in the most suitable direction to prevent spaces from remaining in the joint. |

The silicone flux, once positioned should be smoothed and evened out using a finger that has been moistened with water or using a spatula, etc. |

When it has been fitted the product should be left to cure. |
